The detention was handed out after vodka and a tattoo kit had been found in her music locker just before the Easter holidays. She was so upset at the prospect of the detention that she ran away from a prestigious choral event on March 21 at Eton College where she was due to sing. It was not an act of rebellion but a cry for help.
