Suspect reportedly identified

The suspected gunman has been identified as Cole Tomas Allen, a 31-year-old man from Torrance, California, two law enforcement officials told The New York Times.

The US department of justice has not formally released the name of the suspect, who is set to be charged with firearms and assault offences.
